If you’re still mourning the end of Anna Faris and Chris Pratt’s relationship (and, let’s face it, who isn’t?) then hopefully this news will cheer you up. No, the couple isn’t getting back together—not to our knowledge, at least—but something Pratt did last night proves he still thinks very fondly of Faris. A TMZ cameraman caught the Jurassic World star bouncing around Los Angeles last night and asked him how he thought Faris did at the 2017 Emmy Awards. (She presented a prize alongside her Mom co-star, Allison Janney.)
“Anna did an amazing job,” Pratt told the paparazzo. “Her and Alison—they both looked great.”
But he didn’t stop the love there: He ended his soundbite by plugging Mom, which airs on CBS and is very funny. “Go watch Mom on CBS,” he said. It’s nice to know that Pratt is still cheering Faris on even though things didn’t work out for them personally.
Faris and Pratt threw everyone for a loop in August when they announced they were separating after eight years of marriage. “Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” they said in a joint statement released on social media.
The couple hasn’t directly addressed their split since this announcement. In fact, this TMZ video is the first time one of them has talked publicly about the other. Thank goodness it’s positive. The world can’t take any bad blood between these two.
