NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Willie Nelson’s manager has confirmed to Fox 17 News that despite rumors on social media Thursday morning, the country singer is alive and well.
Rumors started swirling after a radio station posted on social media about 8 a.m.
But it didn’t take long for other outlets to confirm that it was another hoax of Nelson’s death.
The singer has been the target of numerous online death hoaxes over the years. He references them in the song “Still Not Dead,” from his album, “God’s Problem Child.” Lyrics from the track include, “The internet said I had passed away, but you can’t believe a damn thing that they say,” AP reported.
